July 29, 2013 Anna + Eric | Frederick, Maryland Backyard Wedding
At the end of May I had the pleasure of working with Anna Kerns on this gorgeous backyard wedding. I love the earthy, home-y touches that this couple put on their wedding day and it was totally beautiful. From the vegan dinner, to the “bonsai adoption ceremony” during their wedding ceremony, to the beautiful grounds at Anna’s parents’ home, every aspect was perfect and most importantly, perfect for them. Having never met them prior to the wedding, I was blown away by how sweet and loving they were, and how they even accepted me right into such an intimate day with no reservations and no hesitations. Anna and Eric, you are truly a wonderful couple and I wish you both the best!

Anna’s dress came from Free People. I love it! It really was perfect for her and fit perfectly with the day they had planned.
Prior to the ceremony they had a very sweet first look. I love first looks!
The ceremony was in the main garden on the property. The set up was gorgeous.
The reception was in a tent right next to the house. The decor was really lovely.
