Yesterday I had an evening session with this gorgeous family! They did a wonderful job for being such a big family! It was really tough getting a shot where all of them were looking at the camera and smiling. I think it only happened once! The rest of the family shots were edited together in Photoshop, taking the best look for each person and editing them together to make one great photo. One of the photos was 5 stitched together! When working with such a large group, this is absolutely necessary. I'm very pleased with how these shots turned out, and I think the session went wonderfully. This morning I had a photo session with my cousin and her daughter Erin. Erin turned two yesterday and had a Dora party. Everything was Dora! They had a Dora moon bounce, and all of her presents were, of course, Dora themed. She brought along her Dora phone and Dora sunglasses for our session today. It took her a little while to warm up to me and the camera, but once she did it was easy and a lot of fun! She loved seeing herself on the LCD on my camera. Erin is such a pretty, happy little girl, I loved taking photos of her today! July 25, 2010 Patrick Plays

Had another 2-year session this weekend. Patrick is really cute and really loved his ball! He had fun playing in the water too until he fell in. Oops! He shook it off and still managed to have a lot of fun even though he was drenched! I'm looking forward to seeing him again in November when I do a shoot with the whole family. This morning I did a photoshoot with Mr. Anthony for his second birthday which is coming up in a couple of weeks. We went to Jerusalem Mill. He was so good! He was much more interested in the sticks and the dirt than posing for pictures, but we let him do his thing and they turned out wonderfully. This Monday my friend Tina came over and we did a shoot, taking turns being the model and being the photographer. She's actually the person who originally got me interested in photography 5 or so years ago. The photo she took of me is inspired by my favorite book, which she read recently on my recommendation: Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. I love the way she edited the photo!
